Bachelor Pad 2 – August 30, 2011… What Did That Yogurt Do To You, Melissa?

I’m not sure which made for better television… Crazy Melissa Schreiber beating the heck out of her yogurt while experiencing an anxiety attack on national television or watching her completely losing it while waiting for “exactly 40 seconds” while Blake Julian completed his teeth brushing requirement.  Volcano Melissa was ineffective in preventing Blake from sweeping Holly away to Mammoth, CA for a snow-filled day and giving her the rose.

I do know what made for sad television… watching Michael Stagliano going through the agony of spending the entire  night worrying about his beloved, naive Holly Durst in the arms of the user-abuser, Dr. Blake.  How can she not see through this guy?  Holly gave the song “Torn Between Two Lovers” an entirely new meaning.  She not only said “yes” to Blake’s date invitation, but she also stayed overnight with him in their little snow chalet where they supposedly “only kissed once.”  Holly returned to the bachelor pad where she swiftly found her way back into Michael’s arms and lips.   Note to readers:  it has been reported that the couple are currently dating and recently attended a Los Angeles wedding together.   Holly, Holly, Holly!

Dr. Blake could’ve better utilized his time giving our guard and ever-protector, Casey, a lesson in oral hygiene.  With the exception of his own girlfriend, Vienna, who “ooh’d and awwh’d” over his recognizable kisses, all of the Bachelor Pad ladies commented on the ultimate disgust they encountered in the form of his raunchy breath during the kissing contest.  He should have done them all the favor of honoring his girlfriend and bowing out of the contest… he would have spared the ladies of the horror of that nightmare!

My girl, Ella Nolan, brought home the winning trophy of “best kisser” for the ladies.  She chose a private, hot air balloon date with Kirk.  Although it’s always my luck that my favorites will not win, I am putting out hope against hope that she makes it to the finals.  Her story of losing her mother at the age of 13 to domestic violence was heart-breaking.

My favorite, Ella Nolan

Our princess Erica will attempt to team up to spare her elimination on next week’s episode.  Truthfully, her days are numbered along with those of Blake.  I project the power couples staying in control for at least another couple of episodes.

We also got the low-down on the new Dancing With The Stars contestants during Monday night’s episode.  I can’t wait to watch Ricky Lake!

…Until next week…
