The Review
In the continuing reviews of the It’s All About Us Series, this is my review of the 5th book in the series. The first book is It’s All About Us, the second is The Fruit of My Lipstick, the third is Be Strong & Curvaceous, and the fourth is Who Made You A Princess?.
Once again, the gang’s all here and they’re headed to Scotland for the Christmas holiday break. What the readers get in this book of the series is the story of Mac’s faith as she learns to turn to God. She needs to understand his plan for her life as much as she needs to rely on him to solve the problems that she faces. And, eventually Mac gets there. She comes to understand just what it is that her girlfriends have been sharing with her all along. I believe the book is best summed up in this section of the book:
“We can pray,” Shani said softly, almost hesitantly, which is unusual for her. “Right here under this tree. Can’t we?”
Gillian nodded. “You’re right. We can’t do anything about this situation. But God can do something about Carly’s feelings. And maybe her mom’s too.”
Often times, there is nothing that we can do in the face of hardship but to pray. We’re fortunate that God gives us that direct line of communication with him… to form that personal relationship with him that enriches all aspects of our lives.
As I’ve commented in the other 3 reviews of this series, I appreciate Shelley Adina’s efforts to provide our tweens and teens with a positive message and good, clean read! She puts God at the center of the hearts of her heroines and nothing can be better than that!
On Sher’s “Out of Ten Scale:”
My children and I love-love-love this series and for my review of this Fiction: YA-Christian, I am going to rate this book an 8 OUT OF 10.
Giving Thanks!
My thanks to Hachette Books for this great experience!

The peanut sauce is so easy to make-I love it to. I have another recipe that uses chicken, veggies and pasta tossed peanut sauce if you want it.
