The twins are off at camp.  Five complete days of no bickering, fighting, nor tween hormones!  Simultaneously, where are my friends?  My family?  My posse?  My companions?  It’s so wonderful to have the peace, but the quiet always gets me.  I’m going to read, sleep, and catch up on a million things that I want to get done.

I’ve finally figured out how to add Google Friends onto my blog!  YEAH, me!  I would be thrilled if you’d jump over to my green sidebar and follow me in Google Friends.  I was really excited when I figured it all out and got it set up.  I know my readers already follow me in a reader, but this is just for fun and I dig it!  So… please? (*see how nice I ask?*) Thanks, Esme, for being my first! 

Also, does anybody know… when you join as a friend does that automatically add that blog to Google Reader?  Because, I think that after I add a friend, their blog appears in Google Reader.  But, I’m not sure.  Leave me a comment, please, if you know that answer.

I haven’t made any progress on my classics challenge nor on my book awards challenge.  (*not good!*) 

On TV 

This week was the BIG DADDY of them all when we got to see the Finale and After The Final Rose episodes of The Bachelorette.  So You Think You Can Dance narrowed down the pack to its 4 finalists.  Whale Wars held me as riveted as ever, while America’s Got Talent put me to sleep.  Hell’s Kitchen is getting juicy and fun!  My girls still think that I need to go on that show because of my cooking.  (*yeah, like that’d ever happen!*)

At Home 

I went on a job interview this week and didn’t get the job.  (*so sad*).  I finished summer school and received A’s in both courses.  I’m feeling like a total hippo because I haven’t worked out in 2 weeks.  I will get on that this week, for sure!

For all of you who were praying for Lainey Grace… she’s officially in full remission.  Her PICC Line has been removed and she’s adjusting her way back into “normal life.”  Thanks, again, for your amazing prayers and well wishes.

Other Goodies
