Monday’s Movie: Weekend Top Ten 7.26.09

    I’m glad to see that The Proposal is hanging in there. I knew exactly what to expect but I still laughed all the way through and really enjoyed the movie.

    Thanks for linking me, Sheri – and for hosting! We saw Harry Potter on Friday, but I haven’t had time to write up a review. I’m still mulling it over – for some reason, the changes in this one bothered me more than the previous films.

    Wow…quite a list! I have to stick with DVDs for now. I totally want to see G-Force. I am holding out on my ticket money for The Surrogates which is coming out in September. :) I am even giving up Johnny Depp for it. ;)

    I noticed your picture at Knott’s Scary Farm. I totally miss going to that. I haven’t been in about three years.

    Ice Age is the only movie I would want to see, the others, not so much – I really enjoyed the first two Ice Age

    ps, I forgot to put the title of the movie in the Mr. Linky – it’s “Tokyo Story” – delete the one with just my name, thanks

    We SO loved Harry. Apparently, some didn’t but I think we will probably see it again. We did just recently see Transformers, however, and I wanted to put the word out to the parents. Whoever rated this PG-13 was smoking something. It had every possible vulgar word (f##k, p###y, s##t, b#tch, you name it), animals humping each other, a robot humping Megan Fox’s leg, Shia’s mom getting high on pot brownies then telling everyone how her son’s cherry got popped. Please. I’m not a prude, but I was a bit uncomfortable with my 9 and 11 year old sitting next to me. I was just praying that it all went over their heads…
