The Details

Both of these books are the perfect compliment to a Bible Study Group!  What each book provides are the perfect study guides for your Bible.  What makes it even better is that each chapter/lesson is detailed enough that you can really get your spiritual uplift and enlightenment for the day, but at the same time it’s not overly time consuming.  As the book covers state, you can look at each lesson as a 20-Minutes-A-Day-Study.  In fact, I did get through a lesson in just about 20 minutes. 

My Thoughts On The Books

I have made it my goal to read The New Testament this year.  As I’ve completed the gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, I had questions on several of the parables… especially the fig tree!  I am really enjoying going back, along with my new study guide, to understand just what the heck those parables are trying to teach me!

These are good books to keep alongside your Bible.  However, for me, I needed to make a reasonable commitment to the study books.  Due to my homework and other reading commitments, I have decided to do one study lesson from each book per week.  That means, in approximately 2 1/2 months, I will have completed my workbook lessons.  I’m really looking forward to it!

The Rating

Now, keep in mind that I haven’t completed both books nor all of my lessons yet, but from what I have completed and read I will give these books a rating of 8 out 10 on Sher’s “Out of Ten Scale.”
