My 16 year old son will check it out and have it read in an hour, then pass it on to my 11 year old daughter. Then they laugh about all the silly jokes and crazy adventures together. It's a great way for them to connect with each other. MUCH too slow of a pace for Laura who keeps jumping in and asking "What's happening now?" same as the twins! On your advice I ordered the 3 book set on amazon since it was cheaper than buying books 2 and 3 individually, plus now they'll each have their own copy for book club. That is hilarious! See, this is what I would endure if perchance I had the three book set of The Hunger Games sitting in front of me (that is how much my kids liked that first novel!). Fortunately for me, that series isn't out yet! I always have a kid audio book going in the car, and am always reading a book to them as well, and I know what you mean. Many YA books only make me luke warm, but if they like it, I'm happy. I felt that way recently with the first Pendragon novel.
