Monday’s Movie: Flicks I Just Have To See…
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
I invite everybody to participate in the weekly MEME and write about any movies, television or big screen, that you’ve seen over the past week and write about it. Please feel free to use the above logo photo in your post and/or link back to the site. I will post every Sunday Night or Monday Morning on the movie I’ve seen from the past week. I’m hoping that there are other movie buffs out there who will enjoy the MEME as much as I’m hoping to! The only small request that I have is that you rate the movie out of 5 bags of popcorn (so, 1 bag out of 5, 2 bags out of 5, and so on).

Movie Fans: This week I started to write my review for Get Smart with Steve Correll and Ann Hathaway. But, I was so distracted thinking about the movies that I am dying to watch. My passion beat out my logic, so this week’s post shall be a bit different and will tell you what movies I want to catch in theaters and what I’m hoping to grab via DVD.
IF YOU ARE READING THIS ON GOOGLE READER OR VIA EMAIL, YOU WON’T SEE THE MOVIE TRAILERS, SO YOU’LL HAVE TO CLICK ON OVER TO THE POST TO SEE THE AWESOME TRAILERS!
Big Screen Attractions
The Hangover

My Sister’s Keeper

Bruno (Coming in July)

The Proposal

To Catch on DVD/PPV
He’s Just Not That Into You

Revolutionary Road

Please add your reviews into Mr. Linky!

I have given you the Literary Blogger’s Award over at Bloody Bad Book Blog, I know you might have already gotten that one but I believe your blog encompasses the meaning of the award.

I am a movie buff, but I’ve not seen any of these! If it isn’t kid-friendly, especially in the summer, then I must wait for Netflix!

Sher.. thx for the comment on my ‘SS’ post. As I was writing your link I was mentally thinking (*ducks) as in marie ducking out of the way from your pillow or b-slap for mentioning you

I didn’t even know if I should even write anything about it at all but when I feel safe behind a computer I get bolder than I am in real life. But there were some good comments on it, and I think that everyone is really in the same boat anyway.. everyone that matters that is.
Enuff of that stuff..
That is awesome my blog was in the Google linklist hee hee..though I hope it doesn’t come up for out of the ordinary things!!
I laughed out loud at The Hangover Movie.. I do not get to watch TV except for the Disney Channel or Barney (aargh!) so I have no idea what movies are coming out. I think my hubby and I need to see Hangover and get a laugh from that one.. we do a date night every 6 months or so and we are Overdue for that again!
OH and I HEART YOUR BLOG!!
Have a great day!

I had not heard of The Hangover but I love Bradley Cooper and that trailer is hysterical.
I also want to see The Proposal.

I haven’t yet written my movie review yet for this week either. I need to do that, don’t I?
I would like to see many of those you list, but probably on DVD because I don’t think my husband is too into them (he’s my movie buddy). There are plenty of others out there we both want to see still though–like Wolverine and Terminator. We hope to see those in the theater this week since we’re on holiday.

Well now I know where to go to find out if I want to see a movie or not!! I’m really excited about Bruno … I cannot believe how he transforms himself so entirely for each film!! And My Sister’s Keeper looks promising … but I loved the book so much that I’m a bit nervous about the movie. I’m also really excited about “The Time Traveler’s Wife.”
And I hope you do get to join in The Take A Chance Challenge! It will be so fun and it is very low pressure … just do what you want when you can!

I am really looking forward to seeing My Sister’s Keeper and The Proposal. We watched Revolutionary Road about a week ago and it was bit dark and depressing for me. But the acting was great!
