It’s The Ollie-Wall O’ China

We’ve been, slowly but surely, building a model of The Great Wall of China for Cole’s school project. It’s overtaken the kitchen table, which I cannot wait to have it back! Besides being messy and cumbersome, it’s been a great attractant to Oliver (“Ollie”), the very fuzzy tabby cat. I can’t keep Ollie away from Cole’s school project. His fascination is plain bizarre.
I’m a total nut-job and I sing in a VERY high pitched squeal to our animals. I wish I knew how to record it and play it for you… you’d laugh at me because I’m such a complete weird-O. So, I started singing this song… “It’s The Ollie-Wallllll… O’ China!” over and over again. I have been singing it so much that now I just sing… ”It’s The Ollie-Wallll…” and the twins chime in… ”O’ China!”
I finally got around to snapping a couple of pics so that I can remember this event in our lives. I thought I’d share…

So, Cole’ and I have decided that we should open up a gift shop at the Great Wall Of China and name it the Ollie-Wall-O-China Gift Shop. In it, we will sell:
* Ollie-Bobble Heads
* Ollie-Wall Mood Rings
* Ollie-Wall Calendars and Posters
* Ollie-Wall Souvenier Book
* Ollie-Wall Night Lights
* Ollie-Wall KeyChains
* Ollie-Wall Hair Spray
And, in the restroom of The Ollie-Wall-O-China Gift Shop, we will have little posters on the insides of the doors that have a picture of Ollie with his paw up saying, “Don’t Forget to Flush!”

Nice to see the local feline is on duty as Site Manager. My cats adore being smack in the middle of what ever I happen to be doing. Unless its the vacuuming and then for some strange reason they show a distinct lack of interest as they run screaming into the bedroom…weird

We have a giant mission project in our garage. We have to keep it until Open House at the end of May. The ping pong table is in the backyard to accommodate it!
Your story is so funny, I really got a kick out of it. We have a black lab named Ollie and he would probably be fascinated with The Ollie Wall O’ China too!
Did you build the wall out of catnip perhaps? Is it 5000 miles long?
Are there flush toilets in China? I can only assume that in Ollie world there are. I would like to order the Ollie Wall Mood Ring please.
