I just started reading this today and I am about page 80 and not feeling any type of the connection to the characters I have met thus far. They seem detached from their lives and as a result so am I. I took a 3 year break from nursing before going back on a casual basis….to me it could have been a 30 year break as so much had changed!
I’ve re-entered the ‘outside of the home’ workforce this year and am enjoying it….sadly it means less time for reading…and blogging my reviews!
