Book Giveaway Carnival – You’re Gonna Love It!
The Contest is ON!
If y’all don’t know Tracy over at BookRoomReviews.com, let me just share that she is just a super nice person. She gives a lot back to the blogging community and has always been very good to me. She is always hosting some cool giveaway or another but this is her GRAND-DADDY OF ‘EM ALL WEEK!
I’ve put thought into my Reader’s Delight Basket. What I decided was to spend more money on the books and less on the frills… so, here’s what you can win:
A Wonderful Reader’s Delight Basket Filled With Some Of My FAVORITE BOOKS from the past year…
-
Tea For One
- A blankie
- A BookCharmer bookmark
-
Cool Socks!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE all of these books. I think that you will, too!
What do you need to do to win this GRAND PRIZE valued at $100? Here are the rules:
-
For One Entry: Leave A Comment Below. Which book are you most excited about in this list of four?
-
For Two Entries: Visit my reviews of these books by clicking on the picture of the book cover. In your entry comment, tell me which review you liked reading the most.
-
For Three Entries: Mention my giveaway on your blog. Use my A Novel Menagerie Graphic (below) and Tracy’s contest graphic (above). Link back to this post.
-
For An Extra Entry: Subscribe to this blog and/or subscribe to my Twitter.
-
For An Extra Entry: Tell me WHICH TWO sports my twins play.
-
For An Extra Entry: Tell me the real name of “Princess Paddywaddle.”
-
For An Extra Entry: Tell me what I’ll be doing on the evenings of March 2nd and 9th. (It’s NOT an Easter Pageant)
-
For An Extra Entry: Name the blogger (and her blogsite) whose bookclub I’m in.
-
For An Extra Entry: Tell me which fictional character I’d be if I had to choose one.
-
For An Extra Entry: Tell me the name of one of my two best friends from high school.
-
Contest open to U.S. residents only. (Sorry, the shipping is too expensive for such a heavy box international).
-
Contest entries must be received by 8:00pm PST Sunday, March 8th, 2009.
GOOD LUCK!

I very much enjoyed the review of Snow Flower and the Secret Fan. Not only did it make the book sound even more interesting, but I love that end section about foot binding/lotus foot. Gah, how painful! I like to show my students a bound foot with the shoe off… always gets ‘em.
