1. Do you have a favorite author?  So easy… Nicholas Sparks.  Although, I have to say that I love so many authors that I could go on for days about who I like.  But, I can’t WAIT when he releases a book.  I’m a chick… what can I say?  I get lost in his books and I believe that could really happen to me.. YEAH, RIGHT.. LIKE IT WOULD!  But, the little girl in me thinks… “maybe.”

2. Have you read everything he or she has written?  Yes, all published novels.

3. Did you LIKE everything? Yes, but some definitely more than others.

4. How about a least favorite author?  Ugh… how do I answer that…?  Yes, I have one, but out of courtesy, the golden rule, etc., I won’t name the author.

5. An author you wanted to like, but didn’t?  Hemingway in the book The Sun Also Rises.  But, I have liked him in others.

Hm, #5 is interesting – I’ve often heard ‘The Sun Also Rises’ described as Hemingway’s most likeable novel – although I have yet to read it myself :)

Hey! No fair not to name names! There’s no “golden rule” in blogging!

It’s very diplomatic of you not to name names. I had no problem doing so, but then, my choice for least favorite is long dead, so I don’t think he’ll care if I didn’t much like his book.

I haven’t read The Sun Also Rises, but A Farewell to Arms is one of my favorite novels. Hemingway is a polarizing author. Most people seem to either love him or hate him.

LOL… I want to like Nicholas Sparks, but his work is always so sad (I did enjoy “The Guardian” tremendously). I don’t like books that leave me with a heavy heart. Clearly, considering his vast following, I’m in the minority. Still, he’s a very talented author.

    I’m up here. Happy BTT!

I’ve only read three of Spark’s books. His books are quite emotional. :) Happy BTT!

I have to be in the right mood to read Sparks, but when I am then I enjoy them. I’m still pondering which author I like the least. I’ll be posting in a little while. I have to get the kids to school.

I like the few that I have read by Nicolas Sparks and would like to read more.
I named my least favorite author. He’s a wonderful writer because he has legions of fans. It’s my taste that is the problem. :)

um, I no longer read for pleasure, but for information on how to raise a child … and then self-diagnose my child with the things I’ve read about … I could go on for days about Aaron’s GERD and the medicine he’s on for it!

I don’t want to mention the author that I really disliked because it was a review (not a very good one did I give, at that)… and I am just doing it as a common courtesy. But, if you want to know know, email me and I’ll send it to ya’!

What a fun BTT this week!

I’ve read all of Nicholas Sparks’ books except the newest one. It’s in my stack, though. I’ve mostly enjoyed his books, but some are much better than others. I loved The Notebook.

I’ve never read Sparks, but Sher, I completely agree that it’s so nice to read a ‘happily ever after’ book once in a while and just dream …

I haven’t read that many by Nicholas Sparks but the few I read I enjoyed. Hemingway is another one that I just couldn’t get into.
