The Sunday Salon: So Sleepy…

I’ve been up since 1am… I couldn’t sleep.  I started hacking away at the computer on the re-design of BookCharming.Com to match the product’s new logo and packaging theme.  I’m so impatient… I just want it to be done now and perfectly.  Fat chance of that happening!  Anyway, my web designer will need to clean up my mistakes when it’s my turn on the schedule.

So, after my bad attempt at a re-design on my self-hosted site…. I went and created new BookCharmers.  Needless to say, between the typing and the crafting, my right arm is SHOT!  And, I’m so sleepy!  But, I don’t and won’t miss my Sunday Salon!

The Sunday Salon: Week in Review AND Up & Coming Events

I read and reviewed The Gifted Gabaldon Sisters.  I’m currently reading Perfect on Paper by Maria Murnane  and should be done shortly.  It’s a cute book and I am enjoying it.  It’s not a difficult read and I look forward to cracking it open.  It’s a self-published book.

In my mailbox for revew…

For my contests & challenges:

I’m still sooo behind.  I’m frustrated with myself… let’s just leave it at that!

At home…

I’ve been consumed with BookCharming.Com and trying to get the ChainCharmers off the ground and my inventory up for holiday shoppers.  Here are my new designs from last night’s mad-woman session:

I haven’t loaded them up onto the site yet… but, I think they’re kinda groovy.

I had an exceptionally difficult week this week and can’t wait to “Get Out of Dodge” next week.  The support from everybody has been overwhelmingly wonderful… thank you so much!

Contests….

Today is the last day for Love in the Tropics.  Get your entry in!  You’ll love the prize!

Memes and such…

I’ve been tagged by Lisa at Books on the Brain.  In return, I’ve tagged Alyce, Shana, Anna, Serena, Alessandra and Yasmin.

Other…

I’ll be back tomorrow with a DWTS update… it’s the FINALS!

I really like the blogsite Star Simplified.  You should check it out!

I am exhausted… must go to bed!

Hello Sheri – This is my first visit to your blog and I love it! The header is beautiful. And you are a breath of fresh air. I’ve been reading some of our past post and really enjoying them. I’m glad to know I’m not the only blogger who uses her couch as a bed. Your book charms are lovely and I’ll definitely be ordering some for gifts! Have a good week ahead. :)

Lisa, she IS a breath of fresh air! I love Sher!

Those new BookCharmers are VERY groovy, girl.

Try not to be too frustrated with your reading progress. I am WAY behind too. I mean, even more than usual. Just remember – and I say this as much to myself as to you – it’s supposed to be FUN!!!

I know… when I was talking to Lisa M. of Books on the Brain last night… she was telling me… like, how are we behind???? We’re not behind…. this is for ourselves, for fun…

It’s crazy how we think we’re “behind”… why do we put this pressure on ourselves to be super readers and get all of this done?

    Lisa is right!

Anyway, finished a book last night. Will blog about it later.
