Appreciating Our Best

We’ve only got the best men and women serving our great country!

Veterans Day, this year, falls on a Tuesday… November 11th.   This means, the kids and I have a 4-day weekend.  Guess what?  They are helping me clean the garage!  Needless to say, they are already grumbling about it!  Oh well.. no rest for the weary, as my Grandma used to say.

Please, on the 11th, let’s take some time to remember our veterans.  There are a lot of ways you can do it:  a moment of silence, a prayer, a toast… I am sure that our collective thoughts will reach them and bring a smile.  Remember, without them, our freedom would be compromised.

Thank you, Veterans and servicemen and women alike, for all that you’ve done and all that you are to our country!
