I liked this book up until about the fourth. I didn’t like the ending except for the fact that the narrator became a much better person. I did love the stories from previous lives.

I liked Sei's story, too. Actually all the stories were really good- I don't know if I could pick a favorite. The Suguror one (the Viking) was very memorable, too. Great book! Great review! Lisamm’s last blog post..Review: The Gargoyle by Andrew Davidson

I absolutely loved this novel and even defended it when it received a snarky in Entertainment Weekly. When Andrew Davidson himself responded to that post it made my day.

Sher, I had issues with the journey to hell, too, but like you it was the only part of the book I didn’t like.

I love reading your reviews, girl.

I really fell in love with Sayuri as well as the main Dr. and the hospital psychologist. I think I liked all of them even more than the narrator and Marianne.
